Provincetown Excursion

Begin your day in Hyannis with a reflective visit to the John F. Kennedy Memorial and the Korean War Memorial, beautifully situated along the shores of Lewis Bay. After a scenic ride through Hyannis, the gateway to the Cape, we set our sights on the Outer Cape—where rugged coastlines and rich maritime history await.

Travel through one of America’s oldest fishing and whaling villages as we make our way to the famed Nauset Lighthouse, a classic red-and-white sentinel perched above the Atlantic and Cape Cod’s most photographed lighthouse. Nearby, uncover the story of the Three Sisters Lighthouses, icons of coastal heritage.

Along the way, we’ll stop at two of the Cape Cod National Seashore’s top visitor centers, where panoramic views, interactive exhibits, and park rangers help bring the Cape’s ecological and cultural stories to life.

For those craving a little adventure, climb the Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown for breathtaking, 360-degree views of Cape Cod Bay. Then, enjoy free time in downtown Provincetown, a vibrant blend of history, art, and coastal charm. Browse unique boutiques, explore local galleries, and grab lunch at your leisure before the scenic return ride.

Start your journey in historic Hyannis, where you'll explore the John F. Kennedy Memorial and the Korean War Memorial, two powerful landmarks rich with history and local pride. Then, sit back and enjoy a scenic drive along the iconic Old King’s Highway (Route 6A)—a winding road that captures the charm and natural beauty that define Cape Cod.

Midway through the day, enjoy engaging presentations at working cranberry bogs and visit the historic Dexter Grist Mill, offering a fascinating glimpse into the region’s agricultural past. Purchase a bag of the mill’s own corn meal.
